Learn how to run and how to race.
Learning to run is important for pacing, stamina, endurance, conditioning and staying injury free. We’ll also teach you how to take care of your joints and muscles. Often people start training for marathons or obstacle courses and end up with injuries. These come from incorrect form, overtraining, or lack of knowledge on how to keep your body healthy during the training process. We’ll teach you the tools to improve and make sure you limit the possibilities of injury.
Not to be overlooked.
In obstacle course racing, the strength to climb, pull, carry, and crawl is important to the race. Our program will give you the training to bring your body to a level to compete and succeed. Strength is important for the 5K/marathon runner for conditioning purposes. Strength training also ensures you are staying balanced in movement and strength. Many injuries to joints (hips, back and knees) are a direct result of overtraining one muscle and causing imbalances that make your body weaker and less efficient.
